Pricing
Assembly
Assembly and cleaning of models. Guns drilled. Priced separate from painting by single model clamshell kit and boxed kit.
Additional assembly/cleaning fees
- Gaps filled with Green Stuff only on request
- Resin models (extra cleaning required to remove release agent, use of heat gun as necessary to correct warping)
Note: we do not magnetize.
Painting
Painting of models is priced per model by size and quality standard. Molded (non-flat disc) bases are priced at painting standard levels.
Painting standard levels
- Red Label: Tabletop quality. 2-4 base coat colors including a wash for metallics. This paint level has a minimum of detail work, no highlighting, and a single color base with no decoration.
- Black Label: Tournament quality. Tabletop quality plus detail work and 1-2 levels of highlighting per base color. Includes detail work such as eyes and accessories. Base includes texturing and a sprig of grass.
- Gold Label: Highest quality. Tournament quality plus object source lighting, weathering, technical touches, etc. Base may receive special effects and decoration. Because this level of work typically requires several days of focused effort, we charge a premium fee per model.
Base options
If you would like your model’s base to have a little bit more personality but have selected a painting standard that doesn’t include it, we will be happy to upgrade it to one of our base options for an extra fee.
- Base Option 1: Includes texturing and a sprig of grass.
- Base Option 2: May receive special effects and decoration.

Additional painting fees
- We charge an additional 50% to paint all of a model’s options.
- White and yellow paint schemes require extra time and attention to look good; extra fee by model size.
We reserve the right to alter pricing based on the job.
Payment
When purchasing models through us, we require payment in full for all product up front.
For projects $500.00 and under, we require half of the labor costs up front as a work deposit, and the balance is due upon completion of the project, prior to delivery of the final product.
For projects over $500, we can discuss a payment arrangement.
We accept Money Orders, Cash, and PayPal. We do not accept credit cards or personal checks.
Refund Policy
Product is fully refundable until it is unboxed and labor begins, at which point it is no longer refundable. We will ship your unopened product to you once you have paid shipping costs for it. Any model, in any stage, for which payment has not been received by us for more than 60 days becomes nonrefundable, nonreturnable property of Blazing Phoenix Creations.
